Your name and contact details may be kept by us for future mailings and news. If you do not wish to receive these, please let us know and we’ll delete you from our records. You may also opt out of receiving emails at any time by contacting us. The booking process asks for your address details and phone numbers, these are required by our Local Authority so that we can prove that you are not permanent residents at the camp site. It also allows us to contact you should online methods fail and if we need to contact you for any reason whilst you are travelling to the campsite. Please note that we do not see or have any kind of access to your financial details. Your personal details are only stored for a short time.

We will not pass on or sell your details in any form to any third parties.

Security Bond

We have had to include this due to an increase in missing items in tents & excessive cleaning in the tents. By accepting our terms and conditions you are accepting responsibility for any breakages or damages that you cause to the accommodation and its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur.

We also reserve the right to charge you for missing items, replacement or making good if the damage or breakages are significant.

We reserve the right to charge you for excessive cleaning where the accommodation has been left in an unacceptable condition. All tents must be left tidy, all washing up clean, dried and tidied away. Any items taken out of the tent and used on site to be returned to the correct tent it was taken from. Any food and drink disposed of in bins and recycling bins on site or taken with you.

You and any guests will be held responsible for any fire, damage or alternation to the structure caused by negligence.

The £50.00 security bond is held for 7 days from departure. Once the tent, its contents and site has been checked etc this will be refunded.

A security bond of £300.00 is taken for exclusive group site bookings.

Booking and Deposits

To secure your booking a deposit of 40% of the cost of your stay is required. Full payment of the stay is also accepted as a booking. Contact us if you wish to go for the Full Payment Option. Bookings must be paid in full 6 weeks before your visit start time. If the booking is less than 4 weeks from the date of your stay the full price of the stay is required. Confirmation of the booking will be sent after the deposit, or full payment, has been received.

Payment of the deposit or full amount is the only way a booking can be secured.

Prices are based on 2 adults sharing per Bell Tent. Up to 2 extra guests on 2 futon chair beds can stay at £30 per head per night. All bedding supplied, but they must bring their own towels and robes.

The person booking, where they are booking on behalf of other people is responsible for disseminating any information that we send them, on to others. For example, these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Tent Inventory including directions, and on arrival the Information Pack within each tent, to ensure they are fully aware of the nature of the campsite, Health and Safety issues, the wider countryside, the facilities, and appropriate clothing and footwear they will require.

Payment is taken via BACS / Cheque. Debit & credit cards (1% surcharge on credit cards) on our online safe & secure booking system. Payment is taken in UK Pounds Sterling only.

For bookings made within 28 days of the arrival date full payment is required.

PLEASE NOTE: The payment of the deposit secures your holiday until the full payment has been made. However if the full payment has not been paid by 28 days prior to your arrival you are jeopardising the holiday. If we receive no payment or communication from you and have sent you several reminders we will have no choice but to assume that you no longer wish to honour the booking. We shall then release the holiday to others in which case you will not be refunded your 40% deposit amount.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you wish to change your holiday. Where changes are possible there will be an administration fee of £25. Changes must be made in writing by the person who made the booking. We will do our best to be flexible.

You cannot change a booking 30 days or less to your arrival date. It will be considered a cancellation.

The following conditions are a legal requirement so that both parties know where they stand. However we are human and realise that things do change and we will try and be as flexible as and when we can.

If cancellation is made with over 8 weeks until the arrival date the paid deposit sum will not be refunded but the holiday can be held over to a date, subject to availability, later in the year or following year. If this option is taken a £30 handling charge of will be due.

If you roll over to another date for which a higher sum is charged, you will be required to pay the difference.

If cancellation is made with less than 8 weeks until the arrival date, the deposit (40% of the total sum) will not be refunded and cannot be rolled over to a later date.

If cancellation is made with less than 3 weeks until the arrival date 100% of the total sum will not be refunded (as generally we cannot re-let the tent in that time) and cannot be rolled over to a later date.

Any cancellation or change must be confirmed in writing / email, by the person making the booking.

We strongly advise visitors to take out full holiday insurance to cover cancellations, public liability, personal belongings, loss etc.

In the event that we are forced to initiate a cancellation of your holiday we shall inform you as soon as possible and refund all money paid to us, by you, within 14 days.
